Two Hundred

I've just been working away the past couple of days, head down, focused, mostly on Christmas gifts. I haven't been really adding new things to the store. Mostly because I haven't had time. I was hoping to sell out of what I've got in there now to make room for all new things.

My cabeza is packed with new ideas, most of which have made it to paper. They involve some wire and ribbon and beads, of course...

oh, and stones...I can't seem to escape the lure of gorgeous little chunks of the earth molded and formed into the most beautiful shapes.

...and I'm still in love with the curve of an oval...

...or the bend of a flower petal...

...but I'm starting to think that I need to explore geometry a little more. Maybe see how the point of a star, or the jagged edge of an iron gate translates into beads.
My creative mind won't stop working, it's in overdrive and while none of that is finding its way tacked to stiff felt or woven together bead to bead,
it's still in my head and slowly it's landing on paper and one day, probably next year, it will make it into my hands.
In the meantime, the support of some wonderful customers who chose to leap out and trust a stranger with their hard-earned income has brought me so close to two hundred sales. For that, I thank each and every one of you who has had a hand in it.
And while I don't believe in begging for sales, I do believe in giving, so to the customer who becomes my 200th sale, I just wanted you to know that if you buy a piece of jewelry for that 200, you'll get another piece created special by me absolutely free.
If number 200 is a beadweaver just starting out who puts their trust in my ability to teach and purchases a tutorial, you'll get another one of your choosing absolutely free.
It's almost the end of the year, and for me, it's been an absolutely wonderful one because of you.
Thanks.

P.S. I don't know why I didn't notice sooner...I just realised that the name of your gorgeous brooch is the same name that my husband devised for one of the rings in my Moroccan Odyssey collection. Great minds think alike, eh! ;-) LOL
