The Queen of Procrastination

Lives in my house. In fact, she's in charge of getting done all these things I've set myself up to do this month. Allow me to go over her to do list:
- April 30th: Entry due for local bead contest. (Haven't even started, just opened required materials a week ago.)
- May 11th: Entry due for El Concurso on Beads Perles. (Started this one and have been working happily even though it's due well over a week after the first one.)
- May 31: Stringing submissions for Winter due. (I have something in my head that I want to try to submit.)
- June 9: Project submission due for a certain beading magazine.
And somewhere in all of this, there's an order from a good friend to do four necklaces and another friend would like a pair of earrings. Ay-yay-yay.
And what is her majesty doing? Cutting out teeny tiny pieces of paper for no other reason than that she likes to. Does anyone else have this problem? Argh.

  1. Oh boy do I hear you about being the queens of procrastination! Both mom and I can find other things to do besides inventorying and labeling. That is what we are suppose to be doing today, but as you can see I am blogging and reading other people's blogs. Good luck on completing your list. I hope you are better at than we are. Have a great weekend! Beth

  4. This is the story of my life. Someone I once dated came to my house (a renovation project) and said, "you aren't one of those people who start a project and take years to finish are you?" I like to think that I just have so many interests that I am expanding my horizons not procrastinating. That pile of papers that has gone for a ride two days in a row just need to season a little before it was graded or i had to more fully form an idea before I got to work on those beads that I just had to have six months ago. The in between projects develop new skills and perspective. That is my story and I'm sticking to it.
