I told you yesterday that I had some pretty cool things to announce, well....I won!....not once, but twice!!!
The first was the Featured Artist competition held by House of Gems! They chose my Indian Summer barrette as the 2nd place winner and awarded me a gift certificate to spend on supplies from their website and the chance to have my designs featured on their website! The second competition was the Beadwork Pattern Play Challenge. You'll probably remember this bracelet that I wrote about earlier. Well, I found out a week ago that I had been chosen as one of three editor's choices! Please visit the link above to see all the winners. Okay, now to the good stuff. I've had a great month. It's been so exciting just to rise to the challenge of these competitions, but to win them has been incredible and I wanted to extend the feeling a little. ReplyDeleteI entered a bracelet once in a contest shortly after learning to bead. That's how proud I was of it. Didn't win anything though. But I loved it. It was mine. I created it.
Your pendant is beautiful. Would love to add it to my jewelry wardrobe.
