From My Favorites

I spent a few minutes this morning cleaning out my Etsy favorites. It's really become a jumble of beads, cabs, bags and home decor (the things I buy often on Etsy), and I thought I'd share with you a couple of my favorites and the thought process that made my click that "add to my favorites" button.

This currently holds the front spot in my line-up.
Why?
Well, I think it's pretty obvious that I'm going to need a good diaper bag in the coming year and this one is one of the few that I've seen that isn't large enough to double as a suitcase carry-on, something that I'm pretty sure I don't want to lug around when carrying a baby also.

Why this?
Because, this is gorgeous, that's why.

I started buying handmade soap about six months ago, and I haven't looked back since. The only other person that I share the shower with doesn't like it, so I get the bar all to myself!
I've tried a few sellers, and my current favorite is this seller. Oh, and if you're giving gifts to currently pregnant mommies, I've been using this for a few weeks now, and LOVE it.

 These are beautiful. Just beautiful.

These are one of those things that you put in your favorites and tuck away for a super special occasion. I can't think of anything more luxe than a pair of handmade slippers for your feet. Oh, and the shop isn't just all about feet, I'd definitely drop by if you're still hunting for presents.

My mom wants to paint her bathroom dusty gray, think I can convince her to hang this print between the mirrors?

Anytime I go into a home decor shop, I find myself gravitating toward the mugs. I don't know why really, but I have yet to find anything as tempting as the ergonomic and tribal designs of this designer.

This I love not only because it's super-duper cute, but baby belly friendly to boot.

This next seller is near and dear to my heart. She made my wedding invites and I could not be more pleased with how they turned out. She worked with me through the whole process, customized all the colors, even the colors in the flowers, only printed and charged me for the exact number of invites that I needed and then created customized Thank You cards to go with the invites.
If you need invites or Christmas Cards, or even calendars, she has a great collection, and can even do Save the Dates and RSVP's.
If you know someone who is planning a wedding, I would highly, highly recommend these invites, they are simple and classic, and when I asked for the lighter kraft brown envelopes, she was happy to oblige. I got so many compliments on the simplicity and classiness of the invite and I know for a fact that I spent a lot less than I would have at a big box store because the minimum order was whatever I needed.

I'll try and hunt down my invites and take a photo so you can see exactly what she did for me.

Okay, I'm off to get some housework done. The jewelry sales have been creepingly slow the past month and it doesn't look like I'm going to be as busy holiday shipping as I thought.

It's probably a good thing, I've caught the dreaded head cold and really want to do nothing but sit around the house folding laundry and blowing my nose!
I hope you enjoy your weekend to the fullest!

UPDATE:
These were my wedding invites!
The color combination was fully customized as were the Thank You cards.

Where did I get the color combo?
From this dress, which consequently just happened to be the one that I wore on my wedding day.

  2. Beautiful dress and lovely favourites. I was determined I was going to make a baby changing bag, I have 5 weeks to go. I am not so convinced now but I fell in love with one I saw not handmade I am ashamed to say. It was a Yummy Mummy bag. I haven't bought it can't justify the price but was so pretty!

  3. You are an amazingly beautiful woman. That dress is stunning, but more so for the woman inside it. And the invites are gorgeous! Enjoy the day! Erin
