ReplyDeleteI have SEVERAL favorite pieces of Jewelry but, one that is VERY sentimental to me is a piece my Mother and I worked on. I called it "Clam Surprise". While out to lunch with my Mom and Dad I found a baby crab in a serving of steamed clams I was eating. I kept the crab which I preserved with several layers of clear varnish and then placed it in a tiny bottle with sand that I sealed with a layer of wax. My Mom then beaded the top of the bottle with peyote stitch and strung a necklace of beads and ocean "fetishes" that I picked out.
ReplyDeleteSo to simplify...I like free-form/random pieces of jewelry that "create themselves". :)
ReplyDeleteI shared this giveaway on my profile wall, fan page and one of my beading/craft groups.
ReplyDeleteIt is so difficult to choose a favorite tutorial. I like the Spanish Lace and Persian Rug Bracelet Tutorials. I especially like the Bollywood Ring Tutorial.
