Stringing? Huh? Really?
Yep, I got really bold and sent this piece to Interweave about six months ago and was super-exctied to have them agree to publish it!
But, ya' know, I don't feel too far from my roots, I mean after all, it is a multi-strand SEED BEAD necklace.
But, what I'm here for is to tell you guys about the pendant. I created the pendant in my experimentation with resin. I took tiny pieces of paper, cut them to look like mountains and then pasted them down and drowned them resin. It really is like a little landscape in pendant form.
So, here's the deal with these. I have 5 small circular bezels and 5 double-drilled wooden beads, so, I've listed in my shop the pendant and wooden bead as a little kit. The thing is that I am making the listing made-to-order, which means that if you want one, you should order ASAP, because with resin, you have to let it sit for at least 3 days before you ship it.
Why made-to-order? Because I'm giving you the option of getting the Snowy Peaks as seen above, or the Little Cottage as seen below. I can do either just as easily, and I know some people might prefer the cottage. It's in the shop here.
I also listed this pendant which I call The Road Less Traveled. It's a version of the two pendants above, but it's square, which I actually like. It features a tiny little path winding through a thicket of trees. This one was a doosy, I had to really figure out scale and work on my perspective. But it's in the shop by itself and he's the only one that I've got like this. It's finished and ready to ship also.
Okay, last but not least, The really good news is that we have a winner for my headband!
