Under the Sea (Under the Sea!)
For the Etsy Beadweaver's March Challenge, the theme is Fairy Tale. I chose to do Ariel, the Little Mermaid. So...I walked around the house all day humming "Under the Sea" and "Kiss the Girl". The result was another tidepool ring in some Ariel-esque colors. (I call it Aqua Tidepool Ring)
And my entry for the challenge, Under the Sea Bracelet.

I gots a Treasury and it's time to vote!!!
I haven't gotten a treasury in a long time, but yesterday I just happened to stumble onto this: It's still cold outside... I hope you like it. It has lots of good beadwork in it!
Also, here's my challenge entry for El Reto on the blog Beads Perles. A group of jewelry artists got together and the challenge was to make something using recycled materials. So, I worked up a bracelet with an old fabric belt that I don't wear anymore and a button that was buried in the deepest recesses of my mother's sewing box. Result? A very Gilligan's Island meets Forever 21.
Here are all the entries for this week: You can click here to vote, and yes, I am shamelessly soliciting votes!

Art Bead Scene and I sold sumfin!!
I started entering the Art Bead Scene challenge in July and I told myself that I would make it a goal to enter every month. Well, it was gettin' darn close to the end of January and my brain was not wanting to do white AT ALL. I was so confused on what to do, and then it hit me!
I made beaded beads to look like little white snowballs and strung them together with some seed beads and some wood beads and a cute little bird charm from Green Girl Studios. I call it Snowbird Bracelet and I like it alot. It's in my Etsy shop too.
In other news....I sold sumfin!! (that's "something" in case you don't speak toddler!) I sold my Green with Envy Tidepool Ring. It's on its way to its new home in Texas. So, because my shop looked lonely without it, I had to make another. Here's Purple Tidepool Ring.
And just to make sure it didn't get lonely, here's Key Ring. (Get it? Key Ring? But not for your keys....I'll stop now.) Well, alrighty, I'm out. Enjoy your Sunday, I'm off to make a list of all the things that I need to get done beady-wise before the end of the month! (This includes quite a few contests and challenges, hhhmm..... :)
