First up are our challenge palettes for this month.
The first is one that I created using this photo of Grace Kelly.
I chose to use the entire photo as color inspiration, not just her dress.
So, you have this beautiful mix of this deep smoky gray with punches of garnet and magenta with a creamy backdrop.
To stick with the Hollywood theme I chose Margie's palette #99 which she calls appropriately, Marilyn.
This is a color palette inspired by one of the silkscreen printings made of Marilyn by Andy Warhol after her death.
The colors in Margie's palette are a little brighter, and Margie also includes the Delica #'s in her book, The Beader's Color Palette if you're a beadweaver and would like the colors.
Here are the guidelines:
1. Create a piece of jewelry inspired by one of the color palettes (or both!)
2. On April 18th, we'll have inspiration share. You can leave a link to an etsy find that's inspired by the color palette, or create a treasury, whatever you'd like.
